Speech by the President of the Republic of Poland (Wojcech Jaruzelski)

Description: This is a transcript of a speech given by Polish President Wojcech Jaruzelski at the 1983 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Prague. He condemns the international policy of the US administration, which he says threatens world peace. He also expresses discontent with the newly elected West German government and with the creation of nuclear missile bases on West German territory. In the rest of his speech, he comments on the political and economic situation in Poland, and states his determination to impede Western influence on the country.
