Dec 1985
Description: This document outlines possible questions for a personal discussion between the Soviet Minister of Defense Sergei Sokolov and East German Minister of Defense Heinz Kessler at the 18th session of the Warsaw Pact's (WP) Committee of Ministers of Defense (CMD) in East Berlin in 1985. Open issues between East Germany and the Soviet Union include closer scientific-technical cooperation, the lack of spare parts and other armament items, and increased prices for Soviet military airplanes.
