Operational Directive No. 002 of the Staff of the Maritime Front

4 Oct 1961
Description: This is a document on the 1961 Polish military exercise "Storm". It states that the Warsaw Pact command can expect between one and two days' advance notice of a NATO attack. Simultaneously with the attack, the Polish Maritime Front would launch an offensive through East and West Germany into the Netherlands and, in cooperation with the Soviet Baltic Fleet, into Denmark.
