Measures to Counteract Imperialist Propaganda Aimed at the Allied Armies (Theses)

6 Feb 1973
Description: This is the summary of a report presented by Polish Defense Minister Wojciech Jaruzelski on countermeasures against Western propaganda aimed at the forces of the Warsaw Pact. Jaruzelski's report was part of the fifth session of the Warsaw Pact's (WP) Committee of Defense Ministers in Warsaw 1973. He analyzes the confrontation between East and West from an ideological point of view, and believes that the West has changed tactics and is challenging the ideological and political foundations of Socialism. Nevertheless, the WP is depicted as having the edge in the area of propaganda.
