Description: This is the transcript of an interview with Polish General Wojciech Jaruzelski focusing on the Prague Spring 1968. He describes the circumstances of the Soviet intervention in Czechoslovakia and Poland's reasons for supporting it. He also describes Czechoslovak pressure for military intervention in Poland in the 1980s. Furthermore, Jaruzelski gives an overview of the relationship between Poland and Czechoslovakia and its political leaders from the 1960s onwards.
