Description:
These are the minutes of the sixth session of the Warsaw Pact (WP) Committee of Defense Ministers (CDM) in Bucharest in 1974, including a list of participants, questions discussed, and decisions taken at the meeting. The CDM discussed the implementation of its earlier decisions on air defense and on communication and control systems. With respect to air defense, the CDM judges that its decisions have generally been implemented. As far as communication and control systems are concerned, a number of open issues remain. In particular, the WP still has no integrated communications system.
