War Game Plan by Maj. Gen. Endre Mátékovits

7 May 1951
Description: This plan of a war game develops the necessary steps to repel an attack by an unspecified enemy against Hungary. The plan describes the structure of the troops involved and assigns objectives for them. The plan mainly concerns strategic issues, since it involves units from the level of armies down to no lower than division-level. The focus of attention lies on the 8th Army. In detail, the plan is concerned with the 8th Army's objectives, the position of the enemy, and the time and method by which each unit must reach its assigned positions.
