The Šumava Exercise: Memorandum by Gen. Tadeusz Tuczapski

Description: This is a 1968 memorandum by General Tadeusz Tuczapski on the Warsaw Pact's "Šumava" exercise in Czechoslovakia. He reports on logistical problems during the exercise and tense relations between the members of the Czechoslovak armed forces and the Soviet directors of the exercise.
