Description: This summary of oral history interviews with former Czechoslovak generals covers the potential use of nuclear weapons during the Cold War and the deployment of nuclear weapons in Czechoslovakia. It states that nobody ever addressed the issue of dealing with the effects of a nuclear strike. Most of the interviewed generals agree that the effects of nuclear weapons were underestimated.
