Speech by the Czechoslovak Foreign Minister (Bohuslav Chňoupek)

Description: This is the transcript of a speech given by the Czechoslovak foreign minister at the first meeting of the Warsaw Pact's Committee of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA) in Moscow in 1977. He points to the important role of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE) for the European peace process and outlines Czechoslovak achievements in this respect. He also supports the draft agreement between the Warsaw Pact and NATO states rejecting first use of nuclear weapons.
