Description: This is a summary of a report presented by Polish Deputy Minister of National Defense Florian Siwicki during the 15th session of the Warsaw Pact Committee of Ministers of Defense in Prague in 1983. The report addresses the development of the United Armed Forces' (UAF) command-and-control system. Siwicki stresses the importance of communication between the commands of the Polish army and the UAF. The Polish report also expresses appreciation for Soviet assistance in organizing military training and exercises.
