Letter from India's Moscow Embassy to the Ministry of External Affairs (6 November 1960)

6 Nov 1960
Description: This letter from the Indian Embassy reports on the preparations for the 43rd anniversary of the October Revolution. Interpreting the official slogans for the event in 1960, the rapporteur deduces changes in the foreign outlook of the Soviet leadership. Some idiomatic changes suggest growing disagreement between the USSR and China. India receives the most positive treatment of all non-socialist countries.
