This note gives an overview of the commercial relations of Romania with Pakistan. According to the information contained in the note, a majority of previous contracts were signed with former East Pakistan, now Bangladesh. It also details the repercussions of the late war when Romanian deliveries to East Pakistan had been redirected to harbours in West Pakistan. A representative of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce will travel to West Pakistan in order to clarify open questions and to undertake steps to re-establish good economic relations with the remainder of Pakistan.
