Description:
This record of the fourth meeting of Sub-Group 4 discusses a number of suggestions with a view to improving the text of the draft report prepared by the rapporteur of the group, C. L. Patijn. The French and Turkish representatives express particular disagreements with Patijn's proposal for establishing groups with limited membership as well as the idea of assuming any form of responsibility through the alliance outside the treaty area in general.
