Preparations for Help from Abroad

4 Dec 1962
Description: Against the backdrop of neutrality and secrecy, this memorandum addresses Sweden's need for military help from abroad in situations of neutrality and war and preconditions for this help in the short run. The paper discusses situations in which help from abroad may be possible and issue areas within which assistance may be necessary. The paper states that cooperation calls for communication and a liaison organization, and that Sweden will have a great need for intelligence and supplies. The paper ends with a preliminary timetable of measures.
