The State of Mobilization Efforts in the Centers for Administration of Reserves (Summary)14 Jun 1990 |
||
Description:
This set of two documents presents summaries of a Polish and a Bulgarian report on the state and development of military mobilization and storage centers. The reports are presented at the 25th meeting of the Warsaw Pact's (WP) Committee of Ministers of Defense in East Berlin in 1990. Both reports stress the increasing importance of mobilization and storage centers, since disarmament steps and the diminishing military spending have reduced the role of active-duty armed forces. Therefore, increasingly important questions related to mobilization, training, and organization are addressed. Collection: Defense Ministers
