Description: This is the summary of a report presented by Romanian Minister of National Defense Constantin Olteanu during the 15th session of the Warsaw Pact Committee of Ministers of Defense in Prague in 1983. The report addresses the development of the United Armed Forces' (UAF) command-and-control system. Olteanu outlines the development of the system used by the Romanian army as well as efforts for its improvement, and discusses the modernization of the territorial communications system. He also refers to developments in the military training of commanders and staff officers.
