Excerpts from Talks Between Soviet First Secretary (Leonid Brezhnev) and RCP General Secretary (Nicolae Ceauşescu)

Description: During their talks held in Moscow, Brezhnev and Ceauşescu discuss economic and military issues affecting both countries. Brezhnev and Kosygin describe the economic and military aid provided to Third World countries. With respect to the Indian subcontinent, the Soviet side describes its position on the latest Indo-Pakistani war, contrasting their own measures aimed at ending the military conflagration with escalatory moves by the Chinese. The Soviets interpret Chinese actions as having contributed to the outbreak of the war.
