Speech by the First Secretary of PZPR (Władysław Gomułka)

Description: This is a transcript of a speech given by the first secretary of the Polish Worker's Party, Władysław Gomułka at the Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Berlin 1970. He expresses content with the Treaty of Warsaw and the West German recognition of the Polish western border. Gomułka also calls for a common ratification of the Treaty of Warsaw and the Treaty of Warsaw by West Germany, and further rapprochement between West Germany and Czechoslovakia. He then suggests a resolution for the full integration of both German states into the UN system in order to strengthen the position of East Germany.
