Description:
This document reports on Todor Zhivkov's visit to India and his talks with Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The talks focused largely on bilateral relations, and agreements were signed for stronger economic, technical and cultural exchange between the two countries. The Indian side strongly defended its non-aligned position and refused to accept several formulations for the official communiqué proposed by the Bulgarian side.
