Statement by Turkey

Description: This statement by the Turkish delegate at the Special Group meeting on 7 November 1967 emphasizes the need for the alliance to remain strong and to follow a common policy. It considers maintaining collective security through defense and deterrence and harmonizing national policies to strenghten détente.
