Analysis of the State and Development of NATO's Infrastructure in the European Theater of War (Presentation)

Description: These two reports, given at the 1986 session of the Warsaw Pact's (WP) Committee of Ministers of Defense (CMD), discuss the state and development of NATO's infrastructural preparations in different European theaters of war. The first report emanates from the East German army and addresses the Northern and Central European theaters of war. It reviews NATO's eighth infrastructure program and assesses a the Western alliance's level of preparedness as high, especially in Central Europe. The Bulgarian army prepared the second report, which focuses on the Southern European theater of war.
