Draft Declarations on Lasting and Just Peace in the Middle East, on Lasting Peace in Vietnam, and on Acts of Violence Committed in Chile

Description: These are declarations on the political situation in the Middle East, Vietnam, and Chile drafted during the 1974 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Warsaw. The declaration on the Middle East advocates the withdrawal of Israeli troops from all occupied Arab lands and the involvement of UN forces. The declaration on Vietnam acknowledges the Paris Agreement on peace in Vietnam and guarantees full support for the government of North Vietnam. The declaration on Chile protests against the detainment of political opponents and demands their immediate liberation.
