Description:
This is a document on the Polish military exercise "Summer 67". Having repelled the enemy attack, the Western Front launches an offensive in the general direction of Leipzig - Châlons-sur-Marne, and the Maritime Front advances in the general directions of Neuruppin - Hannover - Ostend and Schwerin - Lübeck - Jutland Peninsula, together with landings in the Baltic Straits. Within seven to eight days of commencement of a nuclear war (or 10-11 days in case of a conventional war), the advancing forces seize the northern part of West Germany and the eastern part of the Netherlands. Within 10-13 days of commencement of a nuclear war (or 14-18 days in case of a conventional war), they seize all of the Netherlands, Belgium, and Denmark. In the event of a nuclear war, the Unified Command would support the Maritime Front by delivering 57 nuclear strikes of 3200 kilotons each against targets including Hannover, Münster, Arnhem, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels, Flensburg, Copenhagen, Odense, The Hague, and Ostend.
