Speech of the First Secretary of the BCP (Todor Zhivkov) in Warsaw

Description: This document is a transcript of a speech by the first secretary of the BCP, Todor Zhivkov. The Bulgarian leader expresses support for the Soviet strategy for reducing nuclear, chemical, and conventional weapons. He also states that the Balkans cannot be considered separately from NATO due to the geographical presence of both NATO and Warsaw Pact countries there, and admits the superiority of NATO in southern Europe and the Balkans.
