Polish Report on PCC Meeting

Nov 1976
Description: This report on the 1976 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Bucharest summarizes the speeches of the delegation leaders, concentrating on the description of the international political situation and the disarmament process, as well as the divergent positions of Romania. Additionally, the report includes an analysis of the declaration on international détente, strengthening security, and the development of cooperation in Europe passed at the PCC meeting, and a discussion of the project for a draft treaty rejecting the first use of nuclear weapons.
