Description: This is a list questions from East German Minister of Defense Heinz Hoffmann to Soviet Minister of Defense Andrei Grechko about possible negotiations on troop reductions and disarmament in Europe. Hoffmann asks Grechko to outline the Soviet position on troop reductions in Europe, especially in East and West Germany, to suggest how the Socialist states could be involved in these negotiations, and to assess the possible repercussions of negotiations on longer-term military planning.
