Questions of Civil Defense and Improvement of Collaboration in this Field (Abstract)

Description: This is the summary of a report on the state and development of the Hungarian civil defense system before and after the seventh session of the Warsaw Pact (WP) Committee of Defense Ministers (CDM). It was delivered by Hungarian Secretary of State for Defense Karoly Csemi at the tenth session of the CDM in Budapest in 1977. According to Csemi, Hungary has improved its civil defense system. He reviews the measures taken, including improved planning, construction of shelters, and the introduction of civil defense instruction in schools. Furthermore, he addresses the cooperation between the WP states in this field.
