Statute of the Warsaw Pact Unified Command

Description: This document outlines the duties and responsibilities of the supreme commander, his deputies, and the chief of staff of the Warsaw Pact United Armed Forces (UAF). A further provision refers to the relationship between the staff of the UAF and the general army staff of the Warsaw Pact countries, and their cooperation on issues such as the coordination and deployment of troops as well as military and political training.
