Excerpts from a Meeting of the Politburo of the Romanian Workers' Party

Description: This protocol records the discussion in the Politburo of the Romanian Workers' Party on the forthcoming travel of a Romanian delegation to Beijing to mediate the deepening Sino-Soviet conflict. The Politburo members agree to aim for a contemporary moratorium with respect to public recriminations to prepare the ground for a meeting of the parties to the dispute.
