Description: These are the minutes of the second session of the Warsaw Pact (WP) Committee of Defense Ministers (CDM) in Sofia in 1970, with information on the participants, agenda, and decisions taken. This CDM meeting addressed the condition of the WP's integrated air defense system as well as the state of, and cooperation between, the WP naval forces. The participants decide to promote the modernization of military equipment and the development of new capabilities.
