Description: This transcript of a speech given by Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Gromyko at the 1967 meeting of the Warsaw Pact foreign ministers in Warsaw concentrates on the situation in West Germany and European security. Gromyko outlines possible dangers of West German policy, stresses the inviolability of European borders, assures East Germany of full Soviet support, and encourages other Central European countries to sign friendship treaties with East Germany soon.
