Description:
These are the minutes of the 20th session of the Warsaw Pact's (WP) Committee of Ministers of Defense (CMD) in Bucharest in 1987. The document contains information about the participants, questions discussed, and decisions taken. Issues include the education and training of the armed forces, the state and development of the unified WP air defense system, and NATO's psychological warfare against the WP. The CMD takes account of the changes caused by the Stockholm Document on Confidence-Building Measures and by the newly-adopted defensive WP military doctrine.
