Memo to Soviet Foreign Minister (Vyacheslav Molotov) 1945

Description: This memorandum to the Soviet Foreign Minister, Vyacheslav Molotov, calls for upgrading and deepening cultural contacts between India and the Soviet Union and presents concrete suggestions in that direction. It points to growing Indian interest in the Soviet Union against the backdrop of the ending Second World War and suggests a number of possible measures and steps, including discussions about the exchange of official representatives, the delegation of cultural officials and the expansion of Indian branch of the Soviet news agency.
