Speech by Hungarian Deputy Foreign Minister Vencel Házy

Description: This document is a transcript of a speech by Hungarian Deputy Foreign Minister Vencel Házy at the 1981 meeting of the deputy foreign ministers in Vientiane, Laos. Házy presents a general evaluation of the situation in Southeast Asia and reports on his meetings with leaders of the ASEAN countries. He states that the Socialist countries must continue the political and diplomatic campaign on every international platform in order to ensure that the revolutionary changes in Indochina are accepted and that the People's Republic of Cambodia is recognized, and to stifle Chinese and US military and territorial ambitions in the area.
