Equipment of the UAF with Arms and Military Technology from 1981-1985 (Abstract)

Description: This is the summary of a report on the Warsaw Pact (WP) forces' military equipment from 1981-1985 by I. A. Fabrikov, the head of the Technical Committee. The presentation was delivered during the 11th session of the WP Committee of Defense Ministers in East Berlin in 1978. Among the issues Fabrikov addresses are the persistent lack and delayed production of modern equipment and the huge stock of outdated weapons. He also makes suggestions for the acquisition of military equipment that would require increased expenditures.
