Summary of a Discussion between Heinz Kessler (East German Defense Minister) and Dmitri Iazov (Soviet Defense Minister) in Moscow in Moscow on the Withdrawal of Soviet Troops from East Germany

Description: This is the summary of a meeting between East German Defense Minister Heinz Kessler and Soviet Defense Minister Dmitri Iazov. They discuss the planned withdrawal of Soviet forces from East Germany to the Soviet Union and related issues. The East German minister suggests that the public be extensively informed about the withdrawal and asks that some of the newly available assets and resources be returned to East Germany.
