Inclusion of Industry and Maintenance Enterprises in the Restoration of Weapons and Armaments during an Operation on the Theater of War (Summary)

3 Dec 1979
Description: This set of two documents summarizes opinions of the Romanian and East German deputy defense ministers on the integration of civil enterprises into the repairing of military equipment during wartime. Both ministers assess that in wartime, the repair capacities of civil enterprises should also be used to equip the armed forces with weapons and armaments. This has to be considered in the planning for the first year of war and as part of the cooperation between the Warsaw Pact countries.
