Description:
This report contains the main results of the meeting of the chairmen of the Joint Economic Committee GDR/India in Delhi in November 1983. It describes a number of meetings of the head of the East German delegation with Indian ministers concentrating on different forms of economic cooperation between the two countries. One of the main fields mentioned is East German support for coal mining. It also identifies a great number of fields of potential collaboration.
