Description:
In this proposal, Warsaw Pact members advocate a unified European approach to chemical and nuclear weapons reduction and disarmament. They call for a multilateral agreement between NATO, Warsaw Pact and other European states, and propose that a meeting be held in 1984 allowing for interested parties to begin discussing the possibility of such an accord.
