Description: This document contains a proposal by Bulgarian Foreign Minister Viktor Vulkov and Defense Minister Yordan Mutafchev for ratification of the Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) Treaty and its various political guarantees for Bulgarian national security and an agreement on the maximum ceilings of conventional weapons and equipment. According to the CFE Treaty, Bulgaria is allowed to retain 75 per cent of its weapons and military equipment - the highest percentage after Hungary.
