Report on the United Nations9 Mar 1965 |
||
Description:
This document focuses on the Soviet position with regards the United Nations, especially in light of the UN financial crisis. While the Soviet Union expresses its support of the UN as an anti-imperialist organization, it does not accept that it owes monies to the body. Additionally, the Soviet Union states that it will not concede its – or any of the socialist bloc’s – security to the UN or its Security Council. The paper also points to the disinclination of African and Asian countries to align themselves to any specific country or movement. Collection: Indo-Soviet Relations
