Battlefield Signals and Command Systems; Integration of the United Armed Forces' Communication Networks (Summary)

5 Feb 1974
Description: This is the summary of a report on the implementation of Warsaw Pact (WP) decisions on the development of command and communication networks. The head of communications of the WP's United Armed Forces Staff, Listrovoi, prepared the report for the sixth session of the Committee of Defense Ministers in Bucharest in 1974. There is still a lack of airborne command posts and modern equipment. Communication networks are still deficient in terms of integration and cooperation, and not all agreed measures will be executed.
