Description:
This is a document on military standardization and integration in the Warsaw Pact (WP), approved at the tenth session of the Committee of Defense Ministers (CDM) in Budapest in 1977. It states that some work has been achieved in this area, but that several questions are still open. Difficulties remain; for instance, the introduction of modern weapons is happening too slow, and procurement for military equipment for the period from 1981 to 1985 must be completed.
