Description:
This communiqué of the 1980 meeting of Warsaw Pact foreign ministers reaffirms the Warsaw Pact states' support for military détente and disarmament. The upcoming CSCE meeting in Madrid is presented as an opportunity in which to achieve those aims, as well as to further develop economic, scientific and technology exchange among European states.
