Memorandum of Conversation between First Secretary of PZPR (Wojciech Jaruzelski) and the Cuban President (Fidel Castro)

Description: In this conversation between Jaruzelski and Castro taking place at the Andropov funeral in Moscow, both sides describe recent developments in their world regions. Jaruzelski comments on the recent internal developments in Poland and the economic situation. He informs his Cuban counterpart about the tensions in US-Polish relations. Fidel Castro discusses the decline of US influence in Latin America. He also comments on the economic difficulties of many South American countries.
