Description: In Chapter 3 of his book 'Honorable Men: My Life in the CIA', William Colby gives an account of his activities as a spy after he joined the Scandinavian Branch of the CIA in the early 1950s. Colby was in charge of opening an Office of Policy Coordination (OPC) representation in Stockholm. At the same time, he ostensibly worked for the State Department and served as a junior political attaché in the Stockholm US Embassy. His main aim was to develop stay-behind networks in Scandinavia in order to prepare for a possible Soviet invasion.
