Record of a Meeting of Foreign Ministers Following the PCC Meeting in Warsaw

Description: This is a record of a meeting of the Warsaw Pact foreign ministers after the 1988 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting. All ministers agree on the necessity of further disarmament and a common concept of European integration. They also speak about a rapid decision on conventional forces reduction and the human rights issue within the CSCE Vienna talks. The Soviet Foreign Minister Eduard Shevardnadze outlines the state of the Vienna negotiations in detail.
