Report on Meeting

6 Jun 1966
Description: This document of the 1966 meeting of the Warsaw Pact foreign ministers in Moscow reports on European security and the international political situation (e.g., in West Germany), and discusses ways of improving the structures of the Warsaw Pact. Romanian opposition delays an agreement on security issues. Resistance from Bucharest also prevents various agreements, e.g. on a general statement on border issues and claims, and on the further institutionalization of the Warsaw Pact structures.
