Description: This record gives an account of the debate between NATO Secretary General Manlio Brosio and members of the NATO international staff with respect to the substance and the procedure to be followed in implementing the NATO Council Resolution on the Future Tasks of the Alliance. The document outlines their different opinions regarding openness of the study committee and the representation of France. Regarding the substance of the study, the secretary general presents a list of proposals. The minutes conclude with a discussion of the continuation of NATO.
